This Is Me

Welcome to my peerie kitchen...

This is just a small post to introduce myself.

I'm Kelly. I live in England, but I'm from Shetland, and I'm launching this blog as a way to track my food journey. I love all food, I love baking and I'm very interested in cooking. I'm a big fan of unhealthy food and it's definitely my go-to for snacks, but at the moment, I'm on a mission to lower my BMI and because of that, I've turned my hand to healthy cooking, trying to keep my food low cal.

My dream is to own a food truck, but at the moment, I write a lot and I earn my living making sandwiches and pizzas for a big company. It's a fun job, and I work with fantastic people, but ultimately, a food truck where I can control the food I make and travel to different locations to do it, is something I look to the future to do.

The name of this blog - The Peerie Kitchen - is literally because I have a little kitchen, and, of course, peerie is a Shetland synonym for small.
